I know what you’re thinking.  At some point Terry is going to run out of art apps to share on his website.

Well friend, I am here to tell you that I will never run out!  Until I do run out.  But after doing more looking around, it seems like I have a plethora of apps I haven’t even touched yet.  So that’s great news for you!

Sketching Made Easy

I realized that I had actually missed this app my first go round through art apps on my iPad.  Now that I’ve come back to it, I’m pretty amazed by what I can create with it, and how much stronger it is as a sketching app than I initially realized.

On top of that, there is a free version.  So you can test it out before purchasing the full version.

The app has all the usual suspects.  Pencil, pen, paint brush, etc.  But then it adds a pattern tool, text, and some shapes.  Though not as fully fleshed out as some apps, the ability to use text and shapes makes this app stand apart from simple sketch apps such as Paper by 53 and iPastel.

So grab the free version, a cup of tea, and another episode of The Theatre Professor vidcast!
